While serving on the board of a small biotech company, ASEA founder Verdis Norton recognized a groundbreaking technology that supplemented our bodies’ own redox cell signaling potential. These life-sustaining cellular messengers can protect, rejuvenate, and optimize cellular health.*
Deeply inspired by the potential human impact of turning this technology into a supplement that could revolutionize health and support the energy and vitality of people everywhere*, Verdis acquired this redox signaling technology. The new company was named ASEA, inspired by the constant cycle of rejuvenation and rebirth that comes from the sea.
After extensive research and laboratory testing, ASEA landed on a solution to deliver redox signaling technology in products that could now be delivered with global reach. And limitless impact.

Historically only manufactured in small quantities, a team of researchers spends months finding a way to scale the production of redox signaling potential in a shelf-stable form. This innovation leads to the world’s first cell signaling supplement.

The momentum begins
ASEA operations begin in Salt Lake City, with hundreds attending our first leadership summit and our first incentive retreat.

2012
Global expansion = amplified impact
By 2012, ASEA markets extend beyond the United States and include Canada, Italy, France, Ireland, Slovenia, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Norway.

Production power comes in-house
ASEA opens the Redox Center, a state-of-the-art, FDA-listed, NSF-certified production facility in Utah to produce our revolutionary redox technology in-house.

2014
RENU28® Gel puts redox tech into body and skin care
ASEA launches the world's first-ever multipurpose, skin-priming, age-fighting, cellular-rejuvenating redox gel for the entire body.

2015
Launch of the Advancing Life® Foundation
As a human-centered, human-powered company, we launch our humanitarian nonprofit arm, the Advancing Life Foundation, with the aim to fund and execute high-impact projects around the globe to end cycles of suffering, poverty, and abuse.

2016
RENUAdvanced® line enhances skin care
By combining simple, clean ingredients clinically proven to benefit surface skin cell renewal, the RENUAdvanced® system's cleanser, serum, and moisturizer complement the redox benefits of RENU28® for a healthy, youthful appearance.

2017
ASEA relocates to a new, state-of-the art corporate office.
ASEA celebrates the opening of the new headquarters in Pleasant Grove, Utah. The 50,000-square-foot facility is less than a mile from the company’s production facility, built in 2013.

2018
ASEA® VIA® nutritional supplements launch
ASEA packs a foundation for long-term health into its three new nutritional supplements, ASEA VIA Source, ASEA VIA Biome, and ASEA VIA LifeMax.

2019
ASEA VIA® Omega joins the nutritional lineup
Launched to instant acclaim, the new Omega supplement complements other ASEA supplements with its unique support of brain and cardiovascular health.*
